EVENT 2...
After the warm response to our first sherry-focused evening, it felt only right to pour another round. This time we’re teaming up with Indigo Wines to explore a different corner of Spain’s wine map.
Indigo are known for championing fresh, balanced Spanish wines, often from small growers working in lesser-known regions with indigenous grape varieties. Many of the producers they work with farm organically or biodynamically, focusing first and foremost on the vineyard to produce healthy, expressive fruit.
The tasting will travel from the Atlantic freshness of Rías Baixas through to the deeper, structured wines of Rioja, with a few interesting stops along the way.
On the night you’ll taste five wines, each chosen to show a different side of Spain’s landscape, grapes, and winemaking traditions.
Because Corked is, let’s say, pleasantly compact, we’re running two sessions:
• 6:00pm
• 8:30pm
Spaces are limited and will be filled first come, first served, so if you’re keen, be quick!

Shapes of Sherry @ Corked
Sherry, but not as you think it is.
Join us at Corked for a tasting exploring the darker, richer end of the sherry spectrum. This tasting dives into wines shaped by history, where sweetness and savoury live side by side
On the night you’ll taste:
A beautiful Oloroso
A rare VORS Palo Cortado / PX blend, old and complex
A big syrupy González Byass PX
Alongside these, we’ll be serving two classic sherry cocktails.
To keep things grounded Flour Will Fly; our neighbours down the alley, will be providing thoughtful nibbles designed to play nicely with the glasses in hand.
We’ll talk origins, ageing, and why these wines taste the way they do… Just good bottles, good drinks, and a bit of shared curiosity.
6pm start, drifting through to 8 or 9ish.
Everything included in the price.
Come for the sherry. Stay for the shape it leaves behind. 🍷✨
